Working Together in Bradford

Working Together is the Learning and Skills Council’s strategy (2005) for working more effectively with the voluntary and community sector (VCS). The LSC identified the following as priorities for this work: improved communications; development of VCS organisations as providers of learning; development of the VCS workforce and; the VCS as a source of expertise. Local consultations on the Strategy took place in 2005.

The Learning and Skills Council West Yorkshire subsequently funded several local and sub-regional projects to implement the Working Together strategy. Working Together in Bradford is one of these projects, funded until December 2007. Details of work carried out through this Project can be found in this section.
